Up, Up, and Away

One of the things on my life bucket list is to ride in a hot air balloon... I got one step closer the other week. (I know...I am a little behind on posting this one...). Raleigh had it's First Annual Freedom Festival!

I went on a date... more about that later... to see a hot air balloon festival! Thinking about it, I don't think I have ever seen a hot air balloon close up, especially like 12-14! We got to see them set up and then we also got to see a "night glow" as they all would light up the balloons. The colors were amazing and the weather was beautiful. You could tell this was a "first time" event,  but I think they will make lots of awesome changes for next year!
