Strawberry Pickin'

It has been our annual tradition to go Strawberry picking in April each year and a little country farm call The Collard Patch! They give you a red bucket when you arrive and you head out to pick some strawberries! We used to bring my  Memommy, but being 92 years old has kept her at home the past two years. We still took her some of our strawberries to share! :)

In the past, Blake has done more eating than anything, but this year he was the champion picker! He was finding those perfect ripe strawberries everywhere for us! We had a blast and I love these little moments with him!

The Winning Run

Blake has played baseball for a few years now, but his last game was his BEST game!

This was a pretty competitive game for a Rookie League. Each time was maxing out runs for the innings and playing hard in the field. Go figure they ended the game in a tie! They were perfectly matched!

The big surprise came when Blake was up to bat during the tie breaking inning! Yikes! Blake usually strikes out or gets a hit... you never know which one it will be! I was a nervous wreck for him! He fouled the ball and then hit it and made it to first! I was SO excited that he was able to further his team a little closer to a win. YAY!

Another player hit and got on base - which got Blake to second. We just need one run! I was hoping they wouldn't get 3 outs before that happened. After a strike out, another kid hit a line drive. Blake was able to make it to home and score the winning run for his team!!! He hit home plate and his whole team ran out to celebrate him! It was the most perfect little baseball moment! Us adults were so shicked that non of us got it on camera! HAHA!

Blake also got the game ball and we made sure to get a picture of that! Way to go buddy! I will always be your biggest fan!

Spring Break at Great Wolf Lodge

We finally had SPRING BREAK! It was a much need break from school and all of our hectic routines. Blake and I decided to enjoy our first part of Spring Break at Great Wolf Lodge. We LOVE this place! This is our second time going, but this time was almost like a whole new experience Blake is a few years older.

This time around we still did all the fun water stuff, but Blake was a little more daring...

We also hung out with his favorite characters...

We even played our favorite games and got all sugared up...

And finally we took our vacation to new heights!

We had SUCH a great time and I love making fun vacation memories with this amzing kid! This trip only make me look forward to all the fun that we will have together this summer!
