Fall Favorites

September flew by... it was full of sports... like a blur of baseball and football games nonstop! But we had a blast and Blake might've found a new favorite sport with football!

And apparently there is a National Son and Daughter Day?! Sign me up!

National Sons Day…Buddy, you are the most caring and kind and sweet kid. You also talk a million miles an hour and have so much energy. You love so hard and you always want to make people laugh. I love you a million times over and you are my best little buddy forever. Keep being YOU! Happy National Sons Day to my one and only.

Oh sweet girl… if only you knew how long I have prayed for you. I love you fiercely and hope that you know that every single day. You are mighty, you are smart, you are of course adorable… and I know you will move mountains one day. You are adored by our little family in so many ways. Happy first National Daughters Day, baby girl.

Kinsley 5 Months

Happy 5 months (yesterday) to my favorite little mermaid! Kinsley loves her brother and doggies. She thinks they are so funny and they can usually make her laugh on demand. She is also trying her best to crawl- she doesn’t want to miss any of the action! It won’t be long! We love you sweet girl. You are the happiest baby!

Family Pool Time

Summer is fading fast...sadly! We got one last family pool day in with my dad and Heather. We had a blast soaking up the last of the warm sunshine and water fun. Kinsley even took a dip in the pool with Joyner!

Making Lemonade Out of Life

Blake learned about economics in 4th grade - the good ole' supply and demand lesson. Since then he has been begging to do a lemonade stand so that he can make some money. We finally gave in and set him up in the neighborhood one Saturday. Blake had big plans about how he was going to make a ton of money off his lemonade stand. Naturally, I had to talk to him realistically - prepping him for the reality that he might only make $10-$20 on a good day. That little stinker made almost $100 on his one day of the lemonade stand - in which he then looked at me all smug like "told ya so!" Ugh! He had people stopping by and buying lemonade and donating money and everything. I was so impressed and he had the best time doing it! Kinsley even wore her lemonde outfit in support and she loved seeing all the visitors. :) Blake might be a great salesman after all!
