Great Wolf Lodge

 Originally we were supposed to go to Great Wolf Lodge for Blake's birthday, BUT Joyner ended up getting COVID around Blake's birthday so we had to postpone our trip. Thankfully we were able to reschedule it for a few weeks and still enjoy a trip before Baby Kinsley gets here. 

We LOVE Great Wolf Lodge and this was Joyner's first time going, so Blake and I were so excited to show him all of the fun! 

Of course there is all the water park fun - Blake loves the wading pool and the water slides. Thankfully Joyner was with him and could do the water slides with him since I was 7 months pregnant. Haha. In fact, Joyner convinced Blake (ahem tricked Blake) to go on the biggest water slide! They had a blast trying all the fun water stuff. 

By the end of the trip Blake got Joyner hooked on MagiQuest. They had us walking ALL OVER that place with the magic wand conquering wizards and dragons. Haha. Thankfully we completed the challenge and the level for this vacation. I am pretty sure Joyner will be getting his own wand next time so that he can do his own challenges. :) And of course we ate a ton of junk food, played at the arcade, went bowling, did the virtual 3D rides, and more! 

This was an extra special vacation because it was our last one as a family of 3. Next time we will have little Kinsley with us! 

SnowTubing with GG

 Blake is one lucky kid! He got to go to the mountains for the weekend with his GG and Heather. They even took him snow tubing at Hawksnest! He had a blast and I think he wore everyone out. HAHA! That was probably his last snow fun for this year, so I am glad he got to enjoy it! This mama is ready to conquer the slopes with him next year! 

Terrible Two for Jasper

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASPER!

The youngest of our puppy pack is 2! He was looking amazing in his birthday bow tie today! Jasper, we love you to pieces. He LOVES being outside. He has to walk EVERY single morning after  breakfast  (not matter what the weather). He is savage when it comes to people food. He has to sleep with myself or Blake. He loves to snuggle me. He is loves to play with his favorite toys. He likes to be chased by Peedee and Ziva. He likes to chase birds and squirrels. We can't wait to see what you get into next! 

Nine is FINE

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!!!! I can't believe that my baby is 9!!! He has had 9 amazing years of blowing out candles...

Thanks to COVID we had to have a different celebrating this year. We let Blake have a little "gaming" party at home. He invited a few friends over to the house and they had a blast playing video games together. Of course he also got his Star Wars cake, too! It was a little more low key than we normally do, but we still had a good time. Blake also got a trip to Great Wolf Lodge for his bday... stay tuned for those posts! He also got a guitar from his dad and some fun Star Wars and Lego stuff from his friends and family. 

Blake at 9...

• He loves 3rd grade...and even has a little girlfriend names Lainey. 
• He loves to play Minecraft and Fortnite. He plays online with some of his friends since its COVID.
• He still loves playing baseball and basketball.
• He loves Star Wars  - and is making us watch all the movies as a family. 
• He loves sweets and popcorn...and all junk food.
• His favorite drinks are milk, Dr. Pepper, and Pepsi 
• He loves the snow! 
• He likes to read Star Wars books and Captain Underpants books.
• He is a little sassy now.... he will say "I Know" to everything. 
• He loves Dinosaurs and has a small obsession with Jurassic Park stuff
• He loves going to the mountains and beach for family trips.
