Bulls Baseball

 Each year we try to go to a Durham Bulls Baseball Game. Unfortunately, I couldn't go this year bc of Kinsley, but Blake got to have a guys night and go with GG. He had a blast!!! He was even selected to do one of the games in between innings. He got to go out on the field, while the whole stadium cheered for him, and he got to do a basket toss game. Dad said Blake wasn't nervous at all and that he had a blast! I just love that little social boy of mine! :) He won a tshirt and a mascot costume head for playing the game. This year's game was one for the books, for sure! I can't wait until we can all go together as a family next year. 

 

Beach Trip & Birthdays

 Each year we go to the beach on Joyner's birthday. It is the one thing he always says he wants. We can't let him down on that one. Haha. 

This year it was an extra special beach trip because it was also Kinsley's first trip to the beach. Being only a few months old, it was honestly kind of tough. She can't wear sunscreen yet, and she can't really be out very much bc of COVID concerns still. Also, I am breastfeed, so that limits us as well. But, we tried to make small trips to do stuff and make the best out of the situation! We actually did more than I thought we would be able to! 

We of course went to the beach once.. we just did it at sunset and we walked on the beach as a family. We were all so excited to show her the beautiful view! And I think it did us all a little good to inhale some salt air! :) 

We also went to the aquarium! That is one of Blake's favorite things to do. Kinsley loved seeing all of the colorful fish swimming around. We found out that you can book private tours at the aquarium to see "behind the scenes"...we will have to remember to do that next time! 

We even played putt putt at night, but Kinsley slept during that part. :) 

And last but not least... we celebrated the birthday boy!!!! Joyner is 39 this year!!! We love him so much and we hope all his birthday wishes come true this year! 

Cousins

 Aren't these two the cutest little things you have ever seen?! They are the newest additions to the "Cousin Crew" and we are so grateful that they are only 3 weeks apart. They will always have each other to play with! :) Blake is SO close in age with his cousins, and I know that Kinlsey and Owen are lucky to have each other as well. 

Kinsley is 2 Months

 Baby Girl is 2 months old! I can't believe it! She is weighing in at 9 lbs 13 oz and 23.5 inches long! I can’t believe it! Her check up today involved 3 shots but she handled them like a champ. She has started to dazzle us with her smile and it just melts our hearts. She has discovered her hands and everything she can grab goes into her mouth. Her favorite things are snuggles, silly faces, naps, walks, and her play mat. We are just so smitten with you, sweet girl!

We had to get her first shots at her 2 month doctors appointment. That was tough but she handled it like a champ! (better than Daddy) We don't have to go back until 4 months old. 

Non Hot Air Balloon Festival

 This weekend we went to a hot air balloon festival... only there were no hot air balloons bc of the windy weather. We did however get to see some really cool military helicopters AND the guys did some axe throwing.
