Myrtle Beach - Pool Days

While at Myrtle Beach we always enjoy the pool at Uncle Donnie's place. Well, I say pool but it is more like a water park! Blake has never done the water slides before - swimming and getting his head wet is still a little (ahem BIG) fear of Blakes. But thankfully, one of the slides is a tube slide so you don't get your face wet! So, I convinced Blake to go down on the slide in the double tube with me. Oh man, we did that think a million times and we had such a great time! He even got Granny to do it with him once. We also loved the lazy river and the kid splash area. It was the best way to beat the heat!!!

We also had a great time playing putt putt - also in the little beach house community! We all got a hole in one at some point during the game!!!

We had the BEST time at the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better time and better weather! I am so grateful for being able to make these memories with my little buddy! :)

Pirates Voyage

We always go to Myrtle Beach with my mom and we have started this little tradition of going to Pirates Voyage one night for dinner. This is a place that does a dinner AND a show. Blake loves watching all the acrobatic and aerial routines that they do. We are talking pirates jumping into the water, sword fights, sea lion acts, and more! They also make it a fun competition between the pirate teams and include the audience. The food is also amazing! This is just one of the reasons we love our beach vacation so much! ARG!

Myrtle Beach - Beach Life

Our Uncle Donnie and Aunt Dana have a family place at Myrtle beach - and they are kind enough to let us go to their place for a few days! It is so nice and we love going to the beach!

Blake is at a fun age. Some moments he is VERY cautious about trying things, but then once he learns he likes something then he is full force! At the beach, Blake loved boogie boarding! He was hesitant to begin with, but then he wouldn't stop. He also loved making sand forts. We made SO many! Haha. I even tried to let loose and enjoy every moments of the vacation trying new things with him!

You Are My Sunshine

I LOVE the sunflowers and we live in an amazing area that plants sunflower fields for us to enjoy! Blake loved going to see the sunflowers - more importantly he loved running threw the sprinkler that was watering the sunflowers.Haha.

2019 hasn't personally been my best year - but Blake has always been my sunshine. It's little moments like this that keeps me smiling and happy and loving life with this kiddo!

My Little Family

This year has definitely not been my best - personally there have been lots of twists and turns that haven't been the best. But at the end of the day I am grateful because I have this little family - and its just the right amount of chaos and love. :)

Jurassic Quest

Blake is back from Utah and I am SO excited to start our Summer adventures! Our first one is Jurassic Quest. This is a one weekend thing and they are here in Raleigh - they transform this giant convention center into a Jurassic World! I'm talking life size dinosaurs that move, face painting, rides, and more! What more could a 7 year old boy want!?!!

We had a blast and we loved it all. Blake really liked all of the T-Rex stuff - including riding one. Haha. This was the perfect, and cool, way to start our summer fun together!
