Trick or Treat

 It is Halloween and of course we go all out for Trick-or-Treating! This year we had some unique costumes...

Blake was Marshmellow (a popular DJ)...

Kinsley was a little purple monster (the cutest little monster ever)...

I was a scarecrow (thinking about it later we should've made Kinsley the crow...)

And Joyner was a glow in the dark stick figure...the picture doesn't do it justice. 

We had such a fun time and we even went trick-or-treating with our besties (the Jarrell Family) in their neighborhood! 

Our Little Pumpkins

 It is that time again... we headed out to the pumpkin patch at Hillride Farms! This was Kinsley's first time and she loved exploring all the pumpkins! 

We also had a great time carving the pumpkins. We had double the fun this year and we all drilled out initials in the extra pumpkins! 

Tractors Corn Maze

 We had such a great time at Tractors Corn Maze last year, so we decided to go again! We had just as much fun this year and we were even able to do a hay ride this year as well! 

Smores & Movie Night

 Our family LOVES s'mores and we have really loved our outdoor movie set up, so we decided to share with the neighborhood! We invited everyone out to enjoy the firepit/s'mores and a movie - Hocus Pocus. We had such a fun time. We are so grateful for a home that allows us to enjoy our family friendships and our favorite things!

Date Nights

 Date Night....do you remember that?!! Haha. We are slowly getting back into the swing of date nights. We decided it would be fun do to a Ghost Tour of Wake Forest to get us in the festive Halloween mood! It was SO much fun! We got to learn a little bit of WF history for the downtown area and we got to hear some pretty cool stories/legends of things that happened in WF a long time ago. 

Our favorite story is about a woman named Luna who died near the railroad track...they now believe that she is the albino deer that is often spotted near the tracks around WF. 

Kinsley 6 Months

 Happy 6 months to this little beauty! I can honestly say the monthly photos are becoming a challenge- Kinsley is moving and grooving these days! She is also sitting up, chatting (pretty sure she said da-da), rolling over, playing with her toes, and loving bath time! The official weigh in is on Monday at her check up… and we also see baby food and crawling in her near future. Time needs to slow down!

Blake's Football

 I remember a day when Blake begged me to play football and I would reply "Heck no!" Well... here we are....

Blake convinced me to let him play flag football... and it helped that we have several friends also playing. I gave in and I have to admit that I am glad I did. He has had the BEST time playing football! He loves it and he actually has a natural talent for it. Looks like we are adding another sport to our line up. If you know me, you know I would watch that boy play all day long. It is one of my favorite things to do. :) 

Go Ape

 Blake and I LOVE doing Go Ape. It has been awhile since we have gotten out there, but it never disappoints. This might be the last time we do the Junior course. I think Blake will be old enough next year for us to do the big course!!! :) I love spending quality time with my little dare devil!
